Ever wondered why your favorite summery shellac colour doesn’t last as long or can look dull when you return from two weeks in the sun?
Well wonder no more..
These holiday essentials could be to blame:
Sun cream and insect repellent can cause your shellac to lift and chip due to the active ingredients. Its always best to wipe your nails after application of either of these. Sunshine alone might bleach your nail colour, especially the coral and pink shades. Solar oil is great as a barrier to reduce the effects of this.
Solar oil is also brilliant to use before a day by the pool as prolonged swimming in chlorine means nails expand and soften and then as they harden your shellac can chip.
Solar oil will keep your nails hydrated and slow down the rate in which water is absorbed
Happy Holidays!!
